throughout the organization. It is a
disciplined, data-driven
approach and methodology used to analyze existing
processes in order to find opportunities for improvement
and define corrective actions.
The methodology is based on a
sound project management approach, systematic
investigation, analysis of data collected,
experimentation with potential solutions, implementation
planning and ongoing work process controls.
